Hi. Long time since I posted here. Hope everyone is tickety boo! I am in need of some knowledge re - HTML coding. I would like to set up a webpage and would like to know any tips or tricks on producing a good looking site. Also is there anyone who could advise on the purchase of a domain name and hosting my site when it is done? Regards to all. Martin.

Ok so you are building a website! Grin Shine

First off I would advise you do get a host that provides a domain!

I got my host for my private website off eBay but you can get there service off there website @ http://www.hostinghelper.co.uk/

They offer a great service and you can pay via pay pal to!

If you do not want a host and a domain i would recommend a company called - www.123-reg.co.uk

But I would stay WELL AWAY from the company 1&1 because i have had bad experiences with them in the past with money problems and they were very rude!

Now - If you want to build a website you have to know it will catch your viewers eye - if you do not know much about HTML I would suggest you get an "Easy HTML webpage builder" off the internet (or possibly eBay!)

Another option is to get a free template off Google by searching FREE HTML WEBTEMPLATES and then you can edit the template how you feel!

My one tip would be just to play around.... don’t worry if you break anything because it can be easily fixed or replaced!

Good luck mate and let me know your link when you’ve
Got it set up!

Hi Jonzey! HTML not so bad after-all. a bit slow to get going but took onboard your advice and that of many 'freecyclers'. My site is http://www.wineberryholidays.co.uk/ and is a link page for holiday affiliate companies. (More work to do though) especially to achieve a decent rank the search engines. Thanks again for your advice.....Soda-Streaming.[/url]
